There are so many how to guides, magazine articles, forums and so forth to help all brides to be. All things from venue recommendations to floral trends to the who’s who in wedding dress designing. Yet there isn’t much out there for the brides support system, that is the bridal party!

Ever hear the saying “The customer is always right”? Well, this applies to brides also. While it is okay to offer recommendations to your bride to be and help in any way needed but always keep in mind, the bride is always right.
Prepare To Be All In Or Not At All
When you commit to being a part of a bridal party, be prepared for all it entails. It is both a financial and a physical obligation to share in someone’s greatest moment of their life. This will not only include paying for your dress attire, shoes, and accessories but also all activities such as bridal shower, bachelorette festivities or trip, and all else the bride wants to make this moment memorable. You cannot be half into this process, you must commit whole heartedly or not at all.
Consider The Wedding Gift
This is a touchy subject for some and many have different opinions. If you’re asked to be in the bridal party, are you still responsible to spend money on a wedding gift? The answer is really up to you but in all etiquette, the answer is yes. You may not gift as much as the wedding guests will but consider giving something. It’s always the thought that counts the most.
Enjoy This Moment
Most importantly, take the time to really enjoy this memorable time in someone’s life. A bride needs her tribe! This is more than just a saying. It’s also more than what we see on the outside such as the fun bachelorette trips, Instagram worthy photoshoots of the bridal party dressed to impress, and custom Snapchat frames to capture all the moments. This is someone’s moment in time. The moment some wait their entire life to find thee one. Make sure you enjoy every second with them.
